Favorite Top 5 Tim Burton Movie Costumes Available
No5 The bad dream Before Christmas
A fantastic movie produced by Tim in 1993, brought us a collection of crazy characters in this curious musical, and particularly two beautiful characters, Jack Skellington the pumpkin king, and Sally the rag doll. The costumes available for this fantastic join are excellent, and perfect for couples looking for a coordinated plan.
No4 Corpse Bride
How I love this curious movie. In 2005, with the voices and regular Burton contributors of Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, brought us again, two fantastic characters, Victor and Emily. Ah Emily! A character so beautiful and loving and the costumes available for this character are remarkable and made for both adults and children.
No3 Sweeney Todd-The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street
What an perfect messed up movie, fun, funny, sick and scary all rolled into one. Directed by Tim in 2007, a Victorian style creepy musical, a story of a man, Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp), who murders his costumers with a right edged razor, and with the help of his accomplice, Mrs Lovett (Helena Bonham Carter), cut up their victims and put them in to meat pies, hilarious, in a weird kind of way. These costumes are fantastic looking, perfect for a unique Halloween and party idea.
No2 Beetlejuice
Crazy, funny, out of this world, what else could you say about the movie and reasoning character, Beetlejuice. Directed by Tim in 1988 and starring Micheal Keaton as Beetlejuice, a perverted, deranged, obnoxious, out of control nut job (whom I love dearly) who straight through the movie will either make you laugh or feel sick, but his remarkable look, make up and costume, makes way for an fantastic perfect Halloween stand out costume.
No1 Edward Scissorhands
Stunning, beautiful, intriguing, are just a few of the words for this masterpiece. Directed by Tim in 1990 and starring a young Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder, it is an fantastic tale of love and stunningly shot. Edward is an artificial man With scissors for hands who falls in love with a girl. The costume worn by Johnny Depp is stunning, the mind of Tim Burton is just phenomenal, and this costume wins hands down, it is just so perfect looking, get the hair right, show up at any Halloween or fancy dress party looking like Edward, jaws are going to drop.
As you can see, these are just a few great movies of this great geniuses mind, which all adults and children must see. With so many movie characters and hopefully a lot more to come, the choice and costume ideas is vast and exciting, and sure to be unique and wonderful.
Tim Burton Movie Costumes - 5 Great Halloween Costume IdeasMany schools concentrate extra activities into the curriculum around the end of October to have fun with Halloween. Whether hallway costume parade, fall festival, or Halloween party, teachers should get in on the costume fun along with their students. But, sometimes coming up with a great costume idea that fits a teacher's budget, will be a hit with the students and won't interfere with working straight through the day can be a big challenge. Here are some cool Halloween costume ideas for teachers that score an A+.
Storybook Characters: A good quantum of school is devoted to reading, so why not concentrate a book into your Halloween costume? Come dressed as a current day favorite or long-time favorite storybook character and watch the children's faces light up in glee. Younger elementary children will love to see you dressed up as a character that's helping them learn to read such as the Cat and the Hat or one of the many favorite fairytale characters. Older kids will appreciate looking you as a character from other favorite books such as Junie B. Jones, Ms. Frizzle from the Magic School Bus or a professor from Harry Potter such as Dumbledore. Snape or Hagrid. In high school, bring literary legends, such as Shakespeare, to life by dressing up as a timeless character from one of the classics.
Science Stuff: Science class always makes a great venue for Halloween teacher costumes. Dress up as a mad scientist with wild hair and a lab coat, a planet from the solar system, a giant frog labeled for dissection or a life-sized skeleton. If you are easily creative, a unique teacher costume for science class is to dress as a seashore of Dna. Wear a black sweat suit that you have attached with a helix of Dna made from colorful pipe cleaners and fuzzy pom-poms.
Role Swapping: Turning the tables from teacher to pupil is always a fun joke. You can come dressed as the head cheerleader, football player, loveable computer nerd, or any other approved clique at your school. The kids will get a kick out of looking you make a fool out of yourself and these costumes are easy to put together from your school's spirit shop or an online costume shop.
Remember that teacher costumes should always uphold the standards of being a role model for the children. Succeed the rules and conduct for dressing that is incredible by the school and never wear anything inappropriate. For example, sexy costumes or especially gory and scary costumes would not be approved for teacher costumes. A good rule of thumb is that if you have any examine at all about the outfit's appropriateness, even the slightest of concerns, it is best left at home. Instead, opt for a Halloween costume that would be rated G by everyone.
